A great day.

I had a great day at work today and drove there in the sun. Now it is windy and rainy but it is so good to be sitting in my caravan with the wind howling outside.
It is such a beautiful time of year. Lots of flowers are blooming, animals are looking very bright eyed and bushy tailed.
as I approached by home I saw the sheep are all newly shorn and were jumping about quite energetically.
the birds around here are not used to many cars and take their time walking across the road along with the rabbits!

A year ago I had just moved into my caravan. Actually I moved in on 18th so I have been here for just over a year.
Lots of people have started asking me questions about Caravan Life....
It sees that the urge to downsize and live a simper life is growing.
This makes me happy!

So far in 2016...

What an incredible year 2016 has been so far.
Copies of my book 100 Free Ways To Happier Days is selling steadily.
I have my existing role as a teacher to secondary school pupils who have ASD as well as my coaching and writing and now I have a new role as a project worker going in to support individuals and groups of pupils and students in schools across the county.
Each of the roles complements the other and so I am very happy about that.

I will have been living in my caravan for a year in 4 days time!

I am so glad I made the decision to downsize and find my ideal work.
Work is very important to me and I try to carry out my roles with passion and enthusiasm.

I am very proud of my two children. They are both in their final year at university. One has found their first nursing job and the other gets to play Glastonbury this year!

I am so pleased that they have found areas of work that they feel passionate about too.

Lots of writing ideas have been whirring away in my head and I am starting to get it all down on paper.
To top it all off the Spring has arrived and I have been surrounded by lambs, bluebells and rabbits hopping about merrily.
In fact I have been peed on by a lamb just this week!

I have just come back from The New Forest where I camped with the loveable G and our three hilarious dogs. It is truly beautiful there.

I have also been very lucky to see a lot more of friends and family this year.

My aim for the next few months is to support pupils through their exams, carry on writing and coaching and developing my new role in the best way I can.
It is a wonderful benefit of training as a life coach that you get to try things out on yourself.
I know it wounds ridiculous but i have been coaching myself for the past year now and it is rally helping!

We have the power!

I realised recently that we are very powerful and have huge influence providing we do not give it away.
We can feel that things are wrong in the world and if you are like me you could set about identifying the people or person responsible and then blame them for all the wrongs.
Many people have a tendency to do this.
Parents can blame teachers and teachers can blame parents when things don't go well in education. Children can blame parents and teachers while parents and teachers blame the children.
We all can blame the government and the government can blame us.
We blame particular groups of people for the ills in the world depending on where we live and our political or religious outlook. We can rely on other people to fix things.
Where does this really get us?
I think I blame others when it hurts to acknowledge any part in things that are not working well in any area of life.
I am going to look at situations that I am unhappy with more carefully now and I will see what I can do to influence change. My intention is to do this as often as I can. I am willing to accept responsibility for my actions and will change them if they need changing.
What other people do is up to them providing they are not hurting other people, creatures or the environment. I am responsible for myself and my actions.
I truly believe that when we accept our part in everything we become truly powerful. We speak up for what we believe in and people that support our standpoint will do likewise.
If we do things kindly, fairly and with the best of intentions we have the best chance of doing our part to make this world a better place.
